Linkkco is an innovative e-learning platform on a mission to transform how knowledge is shared and accessed across the globe. It was founded by Prince Tawan Oncho, a 24-year-old entrepreneur from Cameroon, who believes that quality education should be flexible, accessible, and tailored to the needs of both learners and educators.
Prince Tawan’s journey began long before Linkkco came to life. Growing up in Cameroon, he witnessed firsthand the challenges that students and tutors face in accessing consistent, flexible learning opportunities especially in regions where traditional classroom infrastructure was limited. Driven by a passion to bridge educational gaps and empower individuals, Prince devoted himself to building solutions that would democratize learning for all.
Then, in late 2019 and early 2020, the world faced an unprecedented disruption: the COVID-19 pandemic. As the virus spread, schools, universities, and training centers across countries were forced to close their doors to protect public health. Overnight, millions of students and teachers were disconnected from traditional learning environments. This global shift exposed deep vulnerabilities in the education system but also sparked a powerful realization education must evolve.
Inspired by this challenge, Prince Tawan doubled down on his vision. He imagined a platform where tutors could teach without the constraints of rigid schedules or physical classrooms, and where learners could access knowledge anytime, from anywhere. That vision became Linkkco.
Today, Linkkco empowers tutors to design and deliver courses on their own time slots, giving them full control over how, when, and what they teach. Whether it’s early morning lessons, late-night workshops, or weekend bootcamps, educators can connect with learners in a way that fits their lives.
